Hi! We're the building team of Team Faraday. We focus on researching and building
the robot, based on each year's First Tech Challenge. This year, we've spent
countless hours making multiple models of our robot, with the goal of hanging
from a bar in the middle of the arena, shooting a paper airplane into certain
zones outside the arena, and picking up and placing pixels on a backdrop. As a
team, we have built a drivetrain compatible with the FTC guidelines, a 2-step
intake for our robot, and a CAD-designed outtake. We have also assembled and
attached linear actuators to help our robot hang and used a rubber band & servo
mechanism to shoot paper airplanes. We plan to continue tweaking the robot, and
preparing for future competitions!
