We are

Team Faraday

We are a FTC robotics team based out of New Jersey and affiliated with Edison High School. Inspired by the renowned English scientist Michael Faraday, our team's success is largely connected to his devotion to experimentation, and we have adopted a similar philosophy throughout our own journey. For us, robotics is more than just a club; we are part of the STEM community fostering the next generation of engineers, programmers, and problem solvers.

Apart of Edison High School for nearly a decade, Team Faraday is now marking a new peak in its eighth year. Originally called "Eagle Tech," the short-lived team was dismantled due to poor management and removed from the school.

Reborn, Faraday was restarted by former Captain and former Team Coach Pranav Chundi. That same year, we recovered from prior failures and successfully competed. Regardless of the difficulties we have faced, we are still growing and competing today while establishing connections with other teams and businesses.

Throughout the 2024-2025 season, Faraday saw the largest improvement in team history, jumping from 20th place in the previous year to being first at Districts, a finalist alliance at States, and setting the standard for what it means to be a FIRST Tech Challenge team. We go beyond competition-- we motivate, inspire, and cultivate the next engineers, roboticists, and STEM professionals.
